TaeKwonDo is a martial art originating in Korea . In Korean, tae means to kick or strike with the foot"; kwon means "fist or to strike with the hand"; and do means "way". Hence, taekwondo is loosely translated as "the way of the foot and hand".
The Mission of Moore's TaeKwonDo is to teach self discipline, self control, perseverance, courtesy, and indomitable spirit, by obeying the tenets of TaeKwonDo America .
